Jolly was a "result" of few-year work over the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog database. We knew exactly what we wanted, what type of Wolfdog is the most suitable for us and which females can "give us" the best results. We were not waiting for good luck – we were looking for a female of perfectly stable genetic base. Fortune was smiling at us: not only did we meet the perfect mating, not only were we put on the list without long waiting but with the help of our breeder we made a perfect choice. Not need to say more – we were lucky and Jolly came to our home ...
SHOWS
At the beginning Jolly was thin and tiny, not enchanting the judges awarding the number of kilograms. After being beaten several times by male-females we still believed in her. We were right! Jo grew up into a real beauty. She was appreciated by judges in Poland (Junior Champion of Poland, Champion of Poland, Junior Club Winner, Club Winner, and BOG), Slovakia (Derby Winner Slovakia 2001), Czech Republic (Junior Champion of Czech Republic, Best Bitch 2002, Winner of Show Ranking 2001), Germany (Club Winner, BOB, BIS) or Portugal (Junior World Winner).
Showing her is a pure pleasure: instead of concentrating on hiding her defects, we can simply show her. Jolly has only one "defect" – as every "star" she is incredibly moody. If a day is good nothing stands on her way. But when she is in a bad mood...
APPEARANCE
Jolly is perfect also in this respect. At the breeding survey in Czech Republic where she was being noted by the founder of the breed, Eng. Karel Hartl and by the breeding supervisor M. Soukupova, Jolly received the best code that could have been given: A64 Of P1, which means the height 64 cm (average for the females of this breed), character: sanguine - calm, accordance to the standard: perfect.
Jolly does not have any of the often met defects such as long ear, brown eye, long tail, indistinct mask, too rectangular form or over-angulations. Her main trump is wolflike structure: Jo is long-legged, light and very feminine. Add beautiful cold look of light amber eyes...
CHARACTER
Cuddly at home, eager to "kiss" – Jolly is distrustful to strangers: she absolutely ignores them. She is friendly to all the family – even to the further relatives that she sees once a year; although she can play with small brats who love Pokemon, she can also be mean to people from outside the pack. Jolly is a subordinate female – and no wonder, with Bolton no other dog can even think about overtaking the leadership – the more she is happy when she succeeds in scaring someone...
Subordinate character has many advantages: training Jo is a pleasure. We have started quite early: at the age of 4 months, not even adult German Shepherds at the Obedience Class could have compete with her. She is a quick learner although getting older she got a "lady syndrome" and she sometimes "does not want to".
Jolly is very "festive" at protection (as almost every light and medium size CW female). On one of the training camps the trainers called her "a Frog": she was very eager to jump to the roller placed above the helper's head, and after first "street" she had to be removed from the helper's back. With Jolly no one has to "kneel" to make her catch the sleeve...
PEDIGREE
Jolly belongs to the line of "Bruna z Banist'a". She comes from the only mating of Ali Reolup outside the "od Uhoste" kennel, what makes all her litter unique. Wolf features she got after her mother. After father – lightness, form and beautiful coat (although twice a year, after moulting, even she looks like the biggest misery). Jo is not a result of coincidence: all the litter was very equalled. Excellent health and "displasia-free" make her an absolute "hit of the goal"...
